GAUN COFFEE TABLE
-
" The name “Gaun” is Indonesian word for “gown”, as its shape is a resemblance of a gown - particularly wedding gown. It is flat when it’s stored, and stands when it’s set, just like the way gown would look."

In These era where naturalistic lust seem to grow on us once again like never before, it is only natural that we seek objects that remind us of nature itself. This furniture is a mix between contemporary style with a touch of wood and leather. So as it acts as a reminiscence to the warm traditional feel, it is where nature meets technology where tradition meets functionality.
The furniture itself was designed with flexibility in mind. Having able to transform into two interchangeable shapes. It serves as a multi-purpose furniture that defeats the necessity of affording two furnitures (coffee table and magazine storage) to fill the desirable purpose and thus, saving space in smaller house.
